Nationals | Stephen Strasburg is stronger

Washington Nationals SP Stephen Strasburg said his body is stronger and he is more mature heading into the 2013 season, and his arm is feeling good. Strasburg resumed throwing after Christmas and threw his first bullpen session last Friday and the second Monday, Jan. 28. He is looking forward to learning from new teammate SP Dan Haren, too. "I think I can learn a lot from him, especially the way he pitches and his repertoire," Strasburg said. "He definitely has nasty stuff. I know he throws that splitter, but I think I can really learn from how he uses his splitter because my changeup is more that type of pitch than a conventional changeup."
