Angels | GM not expecting Albert Pujols to play in WBC

Updating a previous report, Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim general manager Jerry Dipoto said Tuesday, Jan. 29, that he is still not expecting 1B Albert Pujols (knee) to play in the World Baseball Classic, in the second round or any time. "It's our understanding that Albert will be with us the entirety of spring training and we look forward to having him," Dipoto said.
