Nationals | Ian Desmond has goals in mind

Washington Nationals SS Ian Desmond (oblique), who said he's feeling fine physically after spending time on the disabled list last year with an injury to his left oblique, has plenty of things that he would like to improve upon in 2013. "Striking out over 100 times isn't something that I feel like I should be doing," Desmond said. "I'd like to cut down on the strikeouts, works some more walks, be a little more aggressive running the bases, pick up some more stolen bases and just try to help the team in any way that I feel like I can."
