Orioles | Jair Jurrjens signed

The Baltimore Orioles have signed free agent SP Jair Jurrjens (Braves). The one-year contract includes a $1.5 million base salary with another $2.5 million in incentives. Jurrjens, 26, was non-tendered by the Braves earlier this offseason. He pitched to a 6.89 ERA with nearly as many walks (18) as strikeouts (19) in 48 1/3 innings for Atlanta last season, one year after posting a 2.96 ERA and being named to the NL All-Star team.
