Angels | Likely to hold onto Vernon Wells

The Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim are expected to hold onto OF Vernon Wells and use him as a part-time player this season. Owner Arte Moreno was never willing to eat a large portion of Wells' remaining $42 million contract over two years. The Philadelphia Phillies were interested, but they just signed OF Delmon Young.
