Nationals | Jordan Zimmermann could receive long-term deal

The Washington Nationals could choose to sign SP Jordan Zimmermann to a long-term contract in order to avoid arbitration this year. Zimmermann is asking for $5.8 million, while the Nats countered with $4.6 million. SS Ian Desmond, who is also under control until the 2016 season, is another candidate for a multi-year deal.
