Blue Jays | Josh Thole expected to start in Buffalo
Toronto Blue Jays general manager Alex Anthopoulos said Friday, Jan. 18, that C Josh Thole has established himself as a major league player, but if everything goes according to plan, he is expected to begin the season with Triple-A Buffalo.
Fantasy Tip: Thole is behind Cs J.P. Arencibia and Henry Blanco on the organizational depth chart right now, but the GM stopped short of saying the backup job is Blanco's to lose. Still, even if Thole somehow finds himself in Toronto to open the year, he would only be worth a look in the deepest of AL-only fantasy leagues at this point.
