Redskins | Robert Griffin may have torn LCL in first quarter
Mark Adickes, the surgeon that performed Washington Redskins QB Robert Griffin III's (knee) first knee reconstruction, said Griffin may have completely torn his lateral collateral ligament on a play in the first quarter in the Wild Card playoff game before he threw his second touchdown. Adickes has talked with Griffin's family since his latest knee reconstruction and indicated Griffin believes he tore his LCL in the first quarter.
