Brewers | Corey Hart expected to miss 3-4 months
Milwaukee Brewers 1B Corey Hart (knee) will undergo arthroscopic knee surgery Tuesday, Jan. 22, and is expected to miss three to four months. The doctor will perform a debridement of right knee joint surface and repair a meniscus tear.
Fantasy Tip: Details confirm that Hart is expected to miss at least the first six weeks of the 2013 regular season, although he considers himself someone who recuperates quickly. Regardless, this will have a substantial effect on his draft value. The procedure seems unlikely to affect his post-return outlook, but owners can't be sure. Of interest, at least to NL-only players, is the likelihood that Mat Gamel has an avenue to sleeper-hood one more time.
