Orioles | Brian Roberts had surgery

Baltimore Orioles 2B Brian Roberts (hernia) underwent surgery to fix a sports hernia Dec. 20, and the procedure will require one month of recovery time. Roberts expects to be "full go" in spring training and said his surgically repaired hip is doing fine. Roberts expects to compete for the starting second base job with INF Ryan Flaherty.
