Twins | Nick Blackburn to miss start of season

Minnesota Twins SP Nick Blackburn (wrist) will miss the beginning of the season because he's scheduled to have arthroscopic surgery on his right wrist Wednesday, Jan. 16, and he'll be in a cast for six weeks. Blackburn won't be ready in time for spring training, and he'll need to go through rehab work once his cast is off.
