Rockies | Adam Ottavino skipping WBC

Colorado Rockies SP Adam Ottavino will not play for his native Italy in the World Baseball Classic, in order to concentrate on winning a spot on the team during spring training. Teammate Jeff Francis is also skipping the WBC for the same reason.
