Vikings | May look to reduce Jared Allen's cap hit

The Minnesota Vikings may consider signing DE Jared Allen to a short-term extension in order to reduce his salary cap hit for 2013. He would count $16,863,956 against the cap next season if it does not change. The team made sure they would be able to handle the cap hit if it stays the same.
