Cowboys | DeMarcus Ware set for surgery

Dallas Cowboys LB DeMarcus Ware (shoulder, elbow) said Wednesday, Jan. 9, that he will undergo surgery on his right shoulder Thursday, Jan. 10. He hopes to be cleared to return to the field on time for training camp. Ware was bothered for much of the season with a posterior torn labrum, which caused his shoulder to pop in and out of place. It has yet to be determined whether Ware will also undergo surgery for a hyperextended right elbow. Ware will obviously not be able to participate in the Pro Bowl.
