49ers | Safety tandem accomplish rare feat

San Francisco 49ers safeties Dashon Goldson and Donte Whitner are the first safety duo to be named Pro Bowl starters since former Philadelphia Eagles safeties Brian Dawkins and Michael Lewis accomplished the feat in 2005. The duo looks forward to attempting to shut down Green Bay Packers QB Aaron Rodgers in the NFC Divisional Round playoff game Saturday, Jan. 12. In a Week 1 matchup in Green Bay, Rodgers threw for 303 yards and two touchdowns.
