Cardinals | Payroll to stay the same in 2013

The St. Louis Cardinals plan to operate in 2013 with a $115 million payroll, fueled primarily by increases to P's Jason Motte, Mitchell Boggs, Edward Mujica and Marc Rzepczynski and to 3B David Freese. All are arbitration-eligible.
