Redskins | Robert Griffin's knee buckled during game
Updating a previous report, Washington Redskins QB Robert Griffin III (knee) said Sunday, Jan. 6, during his post-game press conference that his knee buckled during the NFC Wild Card game early on during a pass attempt. He had it taped up again, and he continued to play until he took himself out of the game in the fourth quarter. Griffin said he was going to play if he could, noting he's the starter and gives the team the best opportunity to win. He did not feel his playing was hurting the team. He will have an MRI Monday, Jan. 7.
