Padres | Landing spot for Giancarlo Stanton?

The Miami Marlins have shopped OF Giancarlo Stanton, and the San Diego Padres are one of the clubs the team has talked to regarding the power-hitting right fielder. The price for Stanton would be steep, and it would likely take at least INF 3B Jedd Gyorko and two other prospects that the Marlins could control for six seasons. At this point, however, there have not been any detailed talks, just discussion.
