Dodgers | Chad Billingsley has no setbacks
Los Angeles Dodgers SP Chad Billingsley (elbow) has had no setbacks in his rehab from a partially torn right elbow ligament this offseason. He hit 94 mph on a radar gun while throwing a two-inning simulated game in November. Billingsley took a month off and resumed throwing in December. "Physically, Chad's doing great, and he's excited about the year," said agent Dave Stewart. "He sounds confident. I'm not in his head, but he sounds like he's relieved that the throwing program worked out well. He's pain-free. He said he's right where he needs to be." The team is cautiously optimistic that he can avoid surgery, but the club won't know until he tests his elbow in spring training.
