49ers | Kicking competition begins at practice
San Francisco 49ers PKs David Akers and Billy Cundiff began their competition during practice Thursday, Jan. 3, with general manager Trent Baalke, head coach Jim Harbaugh and special teams coach Brad Seely watching. Akers made 16 of his 21 field goal attempts during the media-access portion of practice while Cundiff made 10 of his 12 attempts.
