MLB | Daisuke Matsuzaka may play again in Japan

Free-agent SP Daisuke Matsuzaka (Red Sox) would like to stay in the majors and is open to signing with the San Diego Padres, but the team seems to have little interest in the 32-year-old and "Japan may not be out of the question, depending on what type of deal he gets," according to a report in The Boston Globe. Matsuzaka pitched eight years with the Seibu Lions before coming to Boston in 2007.
