Baltimore Orioles 3B Manny Machado transitioned from his natural position of shortstop to third base rather nicely, and he is expected to start at third base in 2013, with SS J.J. Hardy remaining the team's shortstop. Machado is still viewed as the long-term solution at shortstop.
