The Washington Nationals are looking to sign a free-agent left-handed pitcher and the market is shrinking, as former Nationals RPs Mike Gonzalez and Tom Gorzelanny have each elected to sign with the Milwaukee Brewers. That leaves free-agent J.P. Howell (Rays) as the team's top target to fill a void.
