Eagles | Michael Vick won't re-negotiate
Philadelphia Eagles QB Michael Vick is under contract until 2015, and he is due $15.5 million in base salary next season. The team is not expected to retain him at that figure. However, he is also unwilling to re-negotiate his deal, according to an NFL source familiar with Vick's thinking. The team has to make a decision by Feb. 6. If they release him before that date, they would be on the hook for $3 million. If they keep him, they could try to trade him, but it might be difficult to swing a deal if he won't budge on re-negotiation.
