Jaguars | Maurice Jones-Drew to undergo surgery

Jacksonville Jaguars RB Maurice Jones-Drew (foot) will have surgery on his foot Friday, Dec. 28, and will be out until May.

Fantasy Tip: Jones-Drew wasn't healing the way doctors would like, so he's going under the knife. He enters 2013 forecasting as a low-end No. 1 or a good No. 2 running back. Frankly, it would take a lot more than Blaine Gabbert or Tim Tebow at quarterback for us to continue this nicked up workhorse as a No. 1. He could easily fall in drafts next season, behind attractive names with questionable production like Trent Richardson or Darren McFadden. We could see selecting him around this area in the position next season.
