Rangers | Another Japanese prospect may come over

The Texas Rangers are looking at Japanese League INF Kensuke Tanaka, who recently opted out of the final year of his contract with the Hokkaido Nippon Ham Fighters so he could pursue a long-held goal of playing in the major leagues. Alan Nero, managing director of Octagon Baseball, acknowledged on Friday the Rangers' interest in Tanaka, who was once a teammate of SP Yu Darvish.
