Seattle Mariners OF Franklin Gutierrez and Carlos Peguero are both having strong winter ball seasons. Gutierrez has hit .382 in his last nine games in the Venezuelan Winter League to raise his average to .313 in 18 totals games, while Peguero has hit .381 (8-for-21) in five games since returning to the Dominican Winter League after taking a month off. Peguero is hitting .367 with three doubles, three home runs and 11 RBIs in 14 games overall.
