Yankees | Troy Glaus, Cody Ransom reached out to team
Former MLB 3B Troy Glaus, who retired after the 2010 season, contacted the New York Yankees and expressed interest in making a comeback before the team signed 3B Kevin Youkilis. Free-agent INF Cody Ransom (Diamondbacks) was also among the players who contacted the club after finding out that 3B Alex Rodriguez (hip) would be sidelined for the beginning of the 2013 season.
