Redskins | Robert Griffin optimistic about playing
Washington Redskins QB Robert Griffin III (knee) said he likes his chances of playing in the team's Week 15 game; however, the team wants to keep their opponent, the Cleveland Browns, guessing as long as possible. Griffin wore a black knee brace underneath his sweatpants during practice Wednesday, Dec. 12, moving laterally and with barely a hitch as he stretched; however, he favored his right leg during throwing drills. "Sunday night, I thought there was probably no chance that I could play the next week," Griffin said. "And then Monday morning, I felt better about it. Yesterday, I felt better about it. And today I feel really good about it, so it just depends on if I continue to progress the way I am."
