Steelers | Secondary suffers minus Ike Taylor
Without Pittsburgh Steelers CB Ike Taylor (ankle) in Week 14, the San Diego Chargers took advantage and targeted CB Curtis Brown in the secondary. Brown entered the game in the team's sub-package defenses. He gave up four first-down catches in his 26 snaps played, and he was targeted six times and allowed six grabs for 84 yards and a touchdown. Brown was later benched for CB Josh Victorian, who also surrendered a touchdown. CB Cortez Allen also struggled while moving to the slot in the nickel, and he was targeted seven times, giving up six catches for 46 yards, including three third-down conversions.
