Now that the Kansas City Royals and Tampa Bay Rays have made a trade of their own, the chances of the Arizona Diamondbacks and Texas Rangers hooking up for a deal involving OF Justin Upton is unlikely. The Rangers have been unwilling to part with SSs Elvis Andrus or Jurickson Profar to acquire Upton.
