Lions | Brandon Pettigrew wearing protective boot

Detroit Lions TE Brandon Pettigrew (ankle), as an update to previous stories, was wearing a protective boot following the team's Week 14 loss to the Green Bay Packers. He suffered an injured left ankle during the game and wasn't able to return. He hasn't missed a game since his rookie season in 2009. The Lions have been snake bitten by injuries amongst the receiving targets recently. "Losing Pettigrew, with as few guys familiar with our game day experience, that kind of thing is definitely a loss," said QB Matthew Stafford.
