Redskins | MRI clear for Robert Griffin
Updating a previous report, the MRI for Washington Redskins QB Robert Griffin III (knee) came back clear. Griffin does not have any ligament damage, and his injury is being called a sprain. His status for Week 15 against the Cleveland Browns is uncertain, however.
Fantasy Tip: It is likely Griffin will miss some practice time, and he could potentially sit in Week 15 against the Browns. Fantasy owners might want to play it safe and pick QB Kirk Cousins up off the waiver wire just to have an insurance policy in case a decision on Griffin's status is made later by the team rather than sooner.
