Twins | Jared Burton extended

The Minnesota Twins extended RP Jared Burton for two more years worth $5.5 million Thursday, Dec. 6. The deal also includes a team option for the 2015 season. He will make $2.05 million next year and $3.25 million in 2014 and the option is worth $3.6 million with a $200,000 buyout. Burton is expected to be the top setup man behind RP Glen Perkins.
