Royals | Shut out of Rule 5 draft

Barring a trade or an outright that removes a player from the 40-man roster, the Kansas City Royals are not eligible for the Rule 5 draft Thursday, Dec. 6. Teams must have vacancies on the 40-man in order to gain a Rule 5 selection.
