Rockies | Asking price still high for Dexter Fowler

The Colorado Rockies have made it known that they are shopping OF Dexter Fowler at the winter meetings this week, but the price remains high for the center fielder. Colorado won't trade him away unless they receive an impact player in return. The Cincinnati Reds are linked because they are searching for a leadoff hitter, and the Rockies would likely ask for a package involving SP Mike Leake and possibly a power arm at the top of their farm system. It's unclear if the Philadelphia Phillies are involved in talks for Fowler. The Rockies have interest in Tampa Bay Rays SPs Jeremy Hellickson and Wade Davis, but there is no indication if there is a fit between the teams.
