Tigers | Jim Leyland prefers one closer
Detroit Tigers manager Jim Leyland said he prefers if the team has one established closer as opposed to a closer-by-committee approach. RP Bruce Rondon is considered the favorite to open as the closer next year, but nothing is settled yet. "I know the guys who are on our team . . . Rondon is certainly a possibility to get an opportunity. I'll get a pulse for him in spring training - what I feel about him, his makeup."
