Giants | Sean Locklear done for the season

Updating a previous item, New York Giants head coach Tom Coughlin said OT Sean Locklear (knee) will have surgery and is likely destined for Injured Reserve this week; however, Coughlin added the team will wait as long as possible before making the designation. "I'm sure that will take place at some point in time here this week. Probably sooner than later, but why don't you just wait until that happens. I'm sure you have an idea that will happen," Coughlin said. "Look, we feel badly for Sean. Here's a guy that's come in here not knowing our system and has played well for us. He's been there when we needed him. He's done a heck of a job and we all feel bad about this taking place at that point in time last night and it is a serious injury and we're very upset about that. I'm trying to be aware of that and we'll release all that information at the appropriate time."
