Panthers | Two promoted

The Carolina Panthers promoted OL Thomas Austin and RB Armond Smith from the practice squad to the 53-man roster Tuesday, Dec. 4. Smith could be used to spell RB DeAngelo Williams in games, as the health of RB Jonathan Stewart (ankle) remains in question.
