Mets | R.A. Dickey trade wouldn't surprise

New York Mets SP R.A. Dickey's agent, Bo McKinnis said he wouldn't be surprised if his client was dealt this week at the winter meetings. "It's hard to gauge," McKinnis said. "We have enough of a difference of opinion that if R.A. does get traded, I can't say I would be surprised. I'm not saying that's our first choice, but if it happens, I'm not going to be surprised." McKinnis said he and the team are on the same page as far as years for a potential Dickey extension, but the issue is the dollar amount attached. Dickey is seeking two extra years on top of the 2013 commitment. Dickey would be open to signing an extension with a team willing to trade for him, too.
