Yankees | Jayson Nix could play third base

New York Yankees INF Jayson Nix is the leading in-house candidate to take over at third place in the absence of 3B Alex Rodriguez (hip), with 3Bs David Adams and Ronnier Mustelier behind him. General manager Brian Cashman said SS Derek Jeter is not a candidate to shift over to third base.
