The Washington Nationals are one of eight teams interested in signing free-agent RP Sean Burnett (Nationals), according to a person familiar with the situation. The Nationals have no lefty relievers currently under contract for next season. Burnett will likely be looking for a deal around three years and $18 million. The Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim, Milwaukee Brewers and St. Louis Cardinals could present the most competition for Washington.
