MLB | Dan Haren attracting attention in the East

Free-agent SP Dan Haren (Angels) is drawing some heavy interest from several clubs, with the most interest coming from the East coast. The Boston Red Sox have been his most aggressive suitor, according to a person with knowledge of free agency. The Washington Nationals, Baltimore Orioles, Chicago White Sox and San Diego Padres are also interested. However, Haren is in no rush to sign. The Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim have checked in with Haren, but not much has changed there since they'd still rather re-sign SP Zack Greinke.
