Mets | David Wright agrees to extension

New York Mets 3B David Wright has agreed to the largest contract in franchise history. The eight-year deal is worth slightly less than $140 million, but surpasses SP Johan Santana's six-year, $137.5 million deal to make it the largest in franchise history. The deal includes his $16 million salary in 2013 and adds seven years and roughly $122 million to keep him in town through 2020.
