Tigers | Brennan Boesch will be tendered
Detroit Tigers general manager Dave Dombrowski said the team will tender OF Brennan Boesch a contract, but he seems to be a man without a position heading into next season. OF Torii Hunter has taken his spot in right field, OF Andy Dirks is expected to be the left-handed side of a platoon in left field and C Victor Martinez figures to be the primary designated hitter. "We still see some untapped potential, and he has struggled some. He hasn't made the strides we'd like him to make. However, sometimes power hitters take longer to come about, too. I cannot tell you that he's a given, that one of those corner spots is his at this time," Dombrowski said.
