Jaguars | Coaching staff taking notice of Marcedes Lewis

Jacksonville Jaguars head coach Mike Mularkey said the team has made an effort to get TE Marcedes Lewis more involved recently. "We have put more in just because of his production," Mularkey said. "Some of the things he's showed us; he can do some things better than we thought he could so we've purposely found more things for him to be involved." Earlier in the year with the offensive line in flux, Lewis often needed to help in pass protection, and QB Blaine Gabbert was not willing to take chances in tight coverage.
