Giants | Brian Wilson hoping to be ready

San Francisco Giants RP Brian Wilson (elbow) expects to be ready to return from Tommy John surgery on opening day next year, and he hasn't had any setbacks in his recovery from the surgery. However, the Giants are hesitant to tender him a contract by Friday, Nov. 30. San Francisco would have to offer Wilson $6.8 million after he made $8.5 million last season. They can still re-sign him with a guarantee lower than $6.8 million and a contract filled with incentives. Wilson reportedly isn't excited about that possibility.
