MLB | Jeff Keppinger injured
Free-agent INF Jeff Keppinger (Rays), who hit a career-high .325 for the Tampa Bay Rays last season, recently broke his right leg after tripping on stairs at his house, CBSSports.com reported. Keppinger is recuperating from surgery to what is said to be a small break, according to the report, with the expectation he still will be ready for spring training. The New York Yankees and Arizona Diamondbacks are among interested teams, but Keppinger said at the end of the season he'd like to return to the Rays.
