Updating a previous report, the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim are in "serious talks" with free-agent RP Ryan Madson (Reds), and an industry source said he is "the perfect fit." Madson was born and raised in Southern California and rehabbed after Tommy John surgery in Anaheim under the watch of Angels doctors.
