Rangers | Interest in Justin Upton but price too high

The Texas Rangers' pursuit of Arizona Diamondbacks OF Justin Upton may not be over just yet, but it sounds like the team is willing to wait it out in hopes of getting a discount. According to Fox Sports' Ken Rosenthal, the Rangers are "waiting for the D-backs to back off on their demands for either SS Elvis Andrus or INF Jurickson Profar as the centerpiece of an Upton deal." The Diamondbacks are reportedly so insistent on receiving a top young shortstop in exchange for Upton that they have refused any offers that don't include one.
